E BANC TRADE ADELAIDE INTERNATIONAL HORSE TRIALS
3 – 5 November
The E Banc Trade Adelaide International Horse Trials will return to Adelaide’s leafy parklands this November. Held over three intense days of competition, spectators can witness the grace and precision of dressage on Friday, the thrills of cross-country on Saturday, and the finale of show jumping on Sunday. This event is unique in the world of equestrian sports. It is the only Olympic Standard event in the Southern Hemisphere, and the only equestrian event to be held in the heart of a major city.

FEAST 2006 - ADELAIDE LESBIAN AND GAY CULTURAL FESTIVAL

Feast is Adelaide's annual Gay Lesbian Bisexual Transgender Intersex Queer community cultural festival. In 2006, Feast invites you to delve into the realm of the faerie, to examine the stories, myths and legends of the queer community. FLEURIEU PENINSULA BIENNALE 2006
3 – 26 November
This significant arts festival provides, as the cornerstone of the event, Australia’s richest prize for landscape painting, the Fleurieu Art Prize, offering $50,000 to the winning artist. This year the event will include major exhibitions, lectures and workshops at venues right across the Peninsula, plus a Gala Awards Dinner and a community program showcasing the best art, food, wine and hospitality this unique region has to offer.

CREDIT UNION CHRISTMAS PAGEANT

Once again, Father Christmas is making a special early visit to children in Adelaide, SA. He and hundreds of his helpers – fairies, clowns and much loved children’s characters will weave their way through town for the 2006 Credit Union Christmas Pageant – departing from South Terrace at 9.45am.

Acknowledged as one of the world's great tarmac rallies, the Classic Adelaide Rally is conducted over 1025 kilometres and 34 closed road stages through the Adelaide Hills and surrounding wine regions. Entries showcase cars manufactured before 1982.

Sculpture on the Cliffs 2006
4 October – 7 January 2007
Clifftop Drive, Elliston
The opening celebration will be a festive family event staged on the foreshore of Elliston with all the elements of a country fair; good music, food, stalls displays and arts activities. Twenty-five sculptures will be placed along Clifftop Drive and a program of workshops and forums will be developed for the visiting sculptors to interact with the school and general community and other artists.
