COONAWARRA CELLAR DWELLERS
1-31 July
For the month of July 2007, Coonawarra Cellar Doors will showcase back vintage wines from their range, available for tasting and sale. The wineries of Coonawarra have distinctive personalities, set among heritage buildings or more contemporary spaces, and offering special-release wines that are only available at the cellar door. So why not make some new old friends? This month-long celebration of wine also features fine dining, live music and winery tours.

SOMETHING ON SATURDAY
Until 25 August
The Adelaide Festival Centre’s winter program of fantastic entertainment for children aged 3-10 years and their families continues this month. Every Saturday until 25 August, there will be a different performance, with all tickets priced at only $10. This year’s program includes magic shows, puppetry, all types of dancing and a rock concert. Something on Saturday also includes the free Kids Corner Craft Workshops where your children can get creative for two hours.

VAREKAI BY CIRQUE DU SOLEIL
5 July – 5 August
Cirque du Soleil brings its latest production, Varekai, to Adelaide this month. This spectacular show pays tribute to the nomadic soul of the gypsy and to the spirit of the circus tradition. Set in a mysterious forest of fantastical creatures, Varekai combines gravity-defying acrobatics and evocative music with otherworldly sets and costumes to tell the story of a winged youth who falls to earth and who strives once again to reach new heights.

ADELAIDE FESTIVAL OF IDEAS
5-8 July
Held in July of every second year, the Adelaide Festival of Ideas is an intellectual celebration. In 2007, the theme is 'Which Way to the Future?' Some of the world's most eminent and provocative speakers present lectures, public conversations and panel discussions exploring new ideas and themes in greater depth than mainstream media is capable of doing. The Adelaide Festival of Ideas encourages a global democracy of ideas and is a call to action for society.

MOUNT GAMBIER WINTER FESTIVAL
6-15 July
Mount Gambier celebrates the beautiful winter months with themed activities in the snow, as well as ice-skating. This inaugural festival also offers visitors a range of quality locally produced food and gourmet items, which will be available for purchase.

CAT BY WINDMILL PERFORMING ARTS
7-20 July
Following the success of The Green Sheep, Windmill continues its pioneering work in the creation of performance experiences for very young children. Enter the world of the Cat and discover just how exciting, exhausting and downright dangerous life for this fearless feline can be. This interactive performance is based on the picture book CAT by Mike Dumbleton and Craig Smith.

MOUNT BENSON MIDWINTER MERRIMENT
8 July
The vignerons of Mount Benson extend a warm welcome this winter to lovers of fine wine and food. Each participating cellar door will present a small entree size meal, featuring local produce, and a glass of wine specially selected by our wine connoisseurs to compliment the cuisine.

JAZZ AND BLUES CONCERT AT WHISTLER WINES
15 July
Enjoy an afternoon out in the Barrel Shed at Barossa’s Whistler Wines. Jan Preston, one of Australia's leading female blues and jazz artists, will be performing a set of songs that will have you up and dancing. Admission is $30 per person and includes a complimentary glass of wine and a cheese plate. Bookings are essential.

15 July
