Tourism News News in Brief Indulge New Products Events: This Month Events: Looking Ahead Media Gallery			Australians planning to visit Kangaroo Island for their Christmas holidays are being urged to support the island’s community by keeping their bookings. Tourism Minister Jane Lomax-Smith has echoed calls from community leaders for people to keep their future holiday plans on Kangaroo Island, despite bushfires that have burnt on part of the island. “Kangaroo Island is Australia’s third largest island and the area affected by bushfires represents less than a quarter of the island’s total size,” Minister Lomax-Smith says.
